The surgeons at Georgia Coast Surgical were the first in this area to begin performing General Surgical procedures laparoscopically. Dr. Henderson was the first to perform laparoscopic cholecystectomy in Southeast Georgia. Since 2002 the surgeons at Georgia Coast Surgical have performed over 500 laparoscopic Gastric Bypass and LAP-BAND system implant procedures. We have the skill and experience to perform a wide range of laporoscopic surgical procedures including appendectomy, colectomy, hernia repair, splenectomy and procedures to cure heartburn.
